piggy on the bad boy’s back for life. lining up for the grand
illusion, no answers for no questions asked. you wash your
hands you come out clean, but fail to recognize the enemies
within. you say we're not responsible, but we are, we are,
we are.
o7. tilly & the wall, the freest man
there's a boy i know, he has a heart of glass. it is gold inside
but it has crystallized. it is beautiful, but in its tragedy, it is hard
to hold without shattering. this boy i know lives in a bell jar, it is
balancing on his pedestal. he’s trying not to upset his conscious.
if i can help you, please, you gotta tell me how. i know you’ve been
away and it can break you down, and i don’t want you gone.
o8. jewel, somewhere over the rainbow
someday i'll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are
far behind me. where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above
the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me. somewhere over the
rainbow, blue birds fly. birds fly over the rainbow, why then,
oh why can't i?

I found the same thing with my Val mix too, actually. I think a lot of her personality, especially in the first book, is developed in relation to her brothers.
